Followed the trackback over from the Emerging SBC Leaders blog and enjoyed your comments. Its encouraging to see that there is some cross polination going on between Roman Catholic and Protestant followers of Christ (seperated brethren though we may be!) in the blogosphere. I've read through portions of Pope John Paul II's "CFL" and found it and many other writings of his to be very instructive. I definitely can't claim to speak for all baptist's (I suppose I wouldn't want to for that matter) but there are many of us who mourn the passing of Pope John Paul II with our Catholic brethren and recognize that the global church has lost a truly great and gentle servant of God. Blessings.

Thanks for visiting, Jon, and the kind words, especially about the Holy Father.
