I'm not sure how many people know this about me, but I love music. I'm that guy at the concert who isn't going all crazy dancing but is thoroughly into the music. My tastes are really varied. I'm not sure what to attribute it to -- growing up where I did, which has a long tradition of an amalgamation of music, my parents' tastes, whatever.
My newest discovery is the Wood Brothers' Ways Not To Lose. What a great little album. The songs are stripped down, the bass is allowed to loom large and not be this understated bottom, and the lyrics are deeper than what you would expect for what is ultimately jam songs. Worth checking out.
